Finished the Worldcup in Melbourne with a second place in the medal race. It was a unique race were I in the end, thanks to a nice last downwind and the fact that the two of the sailors in front came in to a “match race ” fight with one another, could cross the finish line in second, but still outside the podium, if so only by an inch.

Through out the week I made good calls on the wind shifts which brought me back to the top, race after race. With this I’m real satisfied. But my skill in positioning myself in the tight situation and not achieving my normal speed left me out of reach to repeat last years success of winning the Worldcup.
